Notice of the Annual General Meeting (“AGM”)
Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. (Toronto time)

The AGM of the South Asian Bar Association of Toronto (“SABA Toronto”) will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. (Toronto time) by electronic conference (the “Meeting”), for the following purposes:

1. to receive and consider SABA Toronto’s annual financial statements for the financial year ending January 31, 2023;
2. to elect up to eight (8) directors for a two-year term; and
3. to transact such further or other business as may properly come before the Meeting (or any adjournment thereof).

Members of record as of the close of business on Thursday, July 13, 2023 shall be entitled to vote at the Meeting.

All members of SABA Toronto, and in particular those members unable to join the Meeting, are encouraged to vote in advance and at their earliest convenience by dating and signing the form of proxy (click here for a copy) and returning it to their proxyholder in .docx or PDF format.
