Job Description – Associate, Civil Litigation Lawyer (Junior)
Due to ongoing growth, our client is seeking an Associate, Civil Litigation (Junior) Lawyer to join its team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have one to three years of civil litigation experience at a top tier firm and excellent academic credentials. The successful candidate will work closely with one of the partners on various litigation files, including preparing for and going to trial. As the ideal candidate, you will have an outstanding track record as an up-an-coming expert litigator and problem-solver with an appetite to build your profile and learn from some of the best litigators.
Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge
* LL.B. or J.D. degree (or equivalent).
* Good standing with a Canadian Law Society.
* 1-3 years of civil litigation experience at a top tier firm.
* Superior problem-solving skills.
* Excellent academic credentials obtained at a top law school.
